Fit through the alpine summer

Or fit because you are having the most beautiful summer in the Alps.

We are the paradise for active holidaymakers.

Due to its location in the Nock mountains Biosphere Reserve and its proximity to the towns of Bad Kleinkirchheim and Turrach, the Almdorf Seinerzeit is a paradise for active holidaymakers. Depending on the season, we climb peaks, hit balls and run kilometers. Could all this be done within the same holiday period? For the sporty guests our chalet host has some tips ready:

Even in the hottest summer times there are still pleasant temperatures on the mountain pasture. Especially in the early morning and in the evening. It is wonderful to keep you fit. There is nothing more beautiful than to experience the sunrise with a wonderful picnic at the summit and then to jump for refreshment in one of the countless Carinthian lakes and in the evening to fall contentedly and tiredly into the Swiss stone pine beds.

Mountain bike or E-Bike

Strong calves

As you please. Whether mountain bike or e-bike, enjoyable tour or flow trail - everyone gets his money's worth here. All of our 138 cycle routes are waiting for you. A wonderful tour is the Kärnten-Wasserreich-Tour. It is a tour over asphalt, gravel roads, along many springs, creeks and plenty of great opportunities to stop.

Fun & Action at Lake Millstatt

Kayak, SUP and more

A scenic lake is waiting for you. Ideal conditions for fun & action. Dive into the world of shallow water kayaking during a puzzle rally or discover hidden bathing bays with a stand up paddle (SUP). Did you know that Lake Millstatt also has a fascinating, diverse underwater world and offers attractive, free-access diving sites.

Golf with panoramic view on 1.100 m

Carinthia's highest golf course can be found in Bad Kleinkirchheim - just a few kilometers from the Almdorf Seinerzeit. When it is oppressively hot and humid elsewhere, there are still pleasant temperatures. The panorama of the biosphere park with its green meadows and forests with the scent of Swiss stone pines, and the peaks of the Nock mountains accompany you every time you tee off on the 18 hole golf courses.

Searching for clues in the upland moor

Visit of the gem in the Nock mountains

A visit to the St. Lorenzer upland moor in the valley of the Gurktaler Alps is very easy. It belongs to the list of wetlands of international importance. The heart of the area is a mountain pine moor surrounded by a moor forest, meadows and a larch pine forest. Convince yourself of this impressive flora and fauna. Did you know that raised bogs are formed by water accumulation on an impermeable layer.
